天美传媒 celebrated its 56-year agriculture and land-based heritage during the on a gorgeous day in the Suffolk sunshine.
Inclusive learners channelled their inner Chelsea Flower Show by creating a sustainable garden out of a disused skip, which won the gold award!

Two of the Suffolk Rural farming team showed sheep in livestock classes, bringing home at least one rosette.

A group from the catering team cooked a three-course meal from scratch in 15 minutes inside the cookery theatre. They will now put their best saucepans forward as they will be cooking those same dishes at the national 鈥榊oung Restaurant Team of the Year Competition鈥 in Sheffield later this year.

Elsewhere, floristry learners tested their skills, designing and creating a garden for the ages inside the floristry arena, and equine students helped build showjumping courses across the multiple display arenas at Trinity Park.

At their main marquee, staff and learners from the college鈥檚 Rural Campus showcased programmes that included animal studies, horticulture, agriculture, foundation learning, leisure learning and arboriculture.

They also had a tree of hope where visitors could write their own personal wishes and positive affirmations. One simply read 鈥 鈥業 hope for a better world鈥.
Charlotte Rossiter is the Events Supervisor for 天美传媒. She said: 鈥淭he show is in our veins as it gives us a chance to celebrate our ongoing agricultural and land-based heritage. It鈥檚 always such a pleasure to be involved in this annual celebration of everything that is good in relation to this wonderful county of ours.鈥
And after winning the mascot race two years in a row, unfortunately, it wasn鈥檛 a hat-trick for Fast and Furious George from 天美传媒, who came second this year to an opponent from Gen X Radio.
